The Fork Union campus is so beautiful, just a wonderful setting. My son attends and has gotten so much from the one subject plan. The facility members all want to be there, staff turn over is very low; it is very apparent they are like family. It truly is a great place to send your son, he comes back as a young man.

I attend Fork Union and I love it, the teachers listen to all your questions until you get the answer. Also, my grades have improved to the point where I got a 100 on my midterm.

FUMA has done a tremendous job of modernizing its campus, while also retaining the values that have sustained it over the 118 years since its founding. The teachers they have recruited over the years have done a remarkable job of striking a balance between demanding only the best, while also being open to mentor and guide the young men entrusted to their care. My time at FUMA was not easy. It was not always happy, either. However, it profoundly changed me in ways I'm still realizing, and I'll always be grateful.

My son Nate was on the 2015 PG Football team - his mom and I loved walking around campus, attending services in the chapel or sitting in the sun watching the PG team play a visiting team. Great memories!

I attended Fork Union between 1964-1969, and I credit the academy for providing me with the skills, discipline, and honor to God that enabled me to succeed in life. First, academically, FUMA is the only academy that has adopted the "One- Subject Plan" which allowed me to focus on one subject at a time and fully comprehend the discipline. Secondly, spiritually, I still remember the men who shaped me into the man I am today. And thirdly, discipline; I was raised in a household in which my parents were beyond their years when it came to corralling me as a young boy. I was destined to end up in jail before long. As a PRE-TEEN, I had stolen cars, I was involved in gang activities, and shoplifting and other illegal activities. Fork Union successfully turned me around, and provided me with a framework which was absolutely necessary in my chosen profession - After college, I entered the U.S. Army, and continued a successful 24-year career as an Army Officer, followed by another 18-year career as a Senior Army Contractor.

The best scenery is the Circle, in the Fall, the trees are just gorgeous with an array of colors. And in the Spring, the trees are in bloom with flowery buds and it become a little garden of Eden. From an Ariel view, the Circle looks like Christ's cross with the US Flag waving straight up from the hear of the cross. FUMA has a beautiful campus.

I attended from 1962 to 1969, before the many new buildings were built. Being situated in the country was a plus as we had fields around the campus. I am amazed at the transformation over the years. It truly is a beautiful place.

We've been very blessed to have sent 2 of our boys to FUMA. One will graduate this year. My husband is a FUMA grad too! We just can't say enough good things about what it has done for our family. Success stories truly begin here. Go FUMA!

Every time I drive through the entrance of Fork Union there is a peaceful feeling that comes over me. All the trees & flowers makes it feel like a true getaway. The buildings are very well maintained. I just love visiting.
